Meet Violet, the heart and soul behind Violets Florist, nestled in the scenic beauty of Mayo. As our head designer and a devoted single mum to two wonderful boys, Oisin and Eoin, Violet's journey into the world of floristry is as vibrant and inspiring as the bouquets she crafts.

Seven years ago, after returning from the UK with her boys, Violet was searching for her calling. Little did she know, it was blooming right before her eyes. A lifelong gardening enthusiast, she discovered Kays Flower School, and it was there that her passion for flowers truly blossomed. Violet immersed herself in the world of floristry, completing all four modules at Kays Flower School, and thus, Violets Florist was born.

What Violet loves most about her work is the joy of selecting flowers for weddings. The meticulous effort that goes into styling a wedding, ensuring every floral detail complements the special day, is where Violet shines brightest. "Being chosen by a couple to bring their wedding day together with flowers is a true honour," Violet shares, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "There's immense pleasure in knowing I played a part in their love story."

But it doesn't stop at weddings. Another highlight for Violet is delivering bouquets. The anticipation, the knock on the door, and the inevitable smile of delight she's greeted with—these moments are priceless. "I love the feeling of being part of making someone's day!" she says with a beaming smile.
