Chlorophytum comosum - The spider plant is considered one of the most adaptable house plants and the easiest to grow. The spider plant got its name because of its spider-like plants, or spiderettes, which dangle down from the mother plant like spiders on a web.
They like well drained soil and bright indirect light. Water well but don't allow the soil to get soggy or your plant may get root rot, they like to dry out between watering. The perfect temperature for them is 13-18 degrees, ideal for any Irish home.
